Texas eliminated the Oklahoma women's basketball team 82-72 in the first round of the Big 12 tournament, and put the Sooners NCAA tournament hopes in jeopardy.

Despite holding a seven point lead at halftime, the Lady Longhorns used a 12-2 run early in the second half to take the lead and never looked back.

Aaryn Ellenberg led the game with 21 points and sophomore Nicole Kornet scored 11 points off the bench and hit three shots from behind the arc.

OU will find out their NCAA tournament hopes nine days after their loss, on March 17, when the field is officially announced.
