Oklahoma State's men's basketball team will play Gonzaga in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in San Diego.

OSU is the #9 seed in the West Region and will play the #8 seed Bulldogs.

The Cowboys are making their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fourth in the last six years.

Gonzaga is the West Coast Conference regular season and tournament champion and are making their 16th straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Bulldogs have played OSU five times, all since 2005, and have won all five games, including a 64-63 win in Stillwater last season.

Gonzaga has four players who average in double figures, and also have point guard David Stockton, the son of former NBA star John Stockton.

The Cowboys are 21-12 on the season.

OSU head coach Travis Ford reacted to the NCAA pairing on Sunday evening in Stillwater.
