The team is competing in the Nebraska Region for its 15th consecutive tournament.

The Sooners will take the court against 7-seed DePaul on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in North Carolina.

DePaul is the Big East champion and finished the regular season with a 27 to 6 record.

The other team in town, the Oklahoma State Cowgirls, will take on Florida Gulf Coast University at 10 a.m. in Indiana.

OSU is the 5-seed in the South Bend Regional, while FGCU is a 12-seed.

FGCU has won four consecutive Atlantic Sun regular-season titles and finished this regular season with a record of 26-7.

The Cowgirls enter the contest 23-8 overall record.

The winner will face the winner of the Purdue-Akron game on Monday.

The Cowgirls will make their 12th NCAA Tournament.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
