Suspect in custody after leading police on late night chase through OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man is waking up in jail Saturday after leading police on a chase late Friday evening.

Just before 9 p.m. Friday, Oklahoma City Police tried to stop a driver near NW 91st and University for traffic charges.

Officials say the suspect drove through a business parking lot and tossed something out the window near Britton Rd. on Francis.

As the suspect started to travel west toward a stop light near NW 122nd and Western, police were able to block off the road and place the suspect into custody.

The suspect’s name has not yet been released.
