Authorities investigating the homicide of a 15-year old teen

DEL CITY, Okla. – Del City Detectives are investigating the homicide of a 15-year-old child that occurred on Friday.

Officers responded to a disturbance late Friday night at the residence.

When they arrived they made contact with 57 year-old Lochindar Caldwell, and a 17-year-old female relative.

Caldwell was not clothed and appeared delusional for reasons unknown to officers.

Reportedly, prior to officers being called Caldwell had started a fight with one of his neighbors.

The 17-year-old female advised that at earlier in the day Caldwell had shot and killed her 15-year-old brother inside the residence.

Caldwell then allegedly forced the female to stay with him all day inside the residence.  Investigators found the body of 15-year-old, Jaquelin Caldwell in a bedroom inside the residence.

He appeared to have been killed earlier in the day.

Caldwell was taken to a local hospital to be assessed before being booked into the Okla County Jail on charges of 1st Degree Murder.

The case is still under investigation.
