IKEA is recalling millions of bed canopies because they pose a strangulation hazard.

More than 250,000 were sold in the United States – more than two and a half million were sold worldwide.

There are reports of children getting tangled up in the fabric – including a seven month old girl in the U.S. who pulled the fabric into her crib, wrapping it around her neck.

The affected models are Legendarisk, Minnen bed canopy set, Barnslig Boll, Minnen Brodyr, Himmel, Fabler, Tissla and Klammig.

The company asked customers who have bought the canopies to return them to Ikea stores around the world for a full refund.

The canopies come in different designs and colors, Log on to IKEA’s site and click on the link at the top of the page for refund information.
