OKLAHOMA – Gas prices are once again on the rise, but it’s not because of crude oil prices or supply issues.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas went up nearly five cents in the past two weeks to $3.56.
That’s according to the industry analyst Trilby Lundberg.
Lundberg says an increase in the price of ethanol is driving up the price of gas.
Ethanol is blended into gasoline, and it’s up .54 cents a gallon.
