The Oklahoma City Thunder lost their first overtime game of the year, falling to the Dallas Mavericks 128-119 after an extra period of play.

Dirk Nowitzki’s 32 points, seven of which came in overtime, got the best of Kevin Durant’s game-high 43 points as the Mavericks won the regular season series with Oklahoma City two games to one.

The loss snaps a four game win streak for the Thunder and dropped them to 3-1 this year in overtime games.

Kevin Durant’s 43 points increased his streak of at least 26 points scored to 36 straight games.

Russell Westbrook scored all 23 of his points in regulation, as the Thunder continue to restrict his minutes as he recovers from knee surgeries.

The Thunder have now lost 12 of their 19 total losses on the road.

Oklahoma City gets two days off before taking on the Sacramento Kings at home on Friday, March 28.
