UPDATE: Crews have capped the gas leak in northeast Oklahoma City after about six homes were evacuated near N.W. 48th St. and Prospect just after 11 a.m.

No serious injuries have been reported.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews have evacuated some northeast Oklahoma City residents as a precaution for a reported gas leak.

Firefighters are on scene near N.E. 48th St. and Prospect.

Officials said crews are working to repair the leak after a line was cut Tuesday morning.

Oklahoma Natural Gas crews are at the scene as a precaution.
