Victim speaks out against OKC doctor charged with sexual misconduct

OKLAHOMA CITY –  A prominent Oklahoma City doctor is facing serious charges, and now an alleged victim is telling her side of the story.

On Wednesday Dr. John Fuller was charged with rape by instrumentation and sexual battery.

Officials say the allegations by a handful of patients date back to 2001.

Thursday afternoon, Fuller went before a judge for the first time in this case, and despite the accusations against him, he maintains his innocence.

Fuller waked into the Oklahoma County Courthouse with his attorney, Scott Adams, with no expression and no comment on the way inside the courtroom.

Adams said, “He doesn’t have anything to say.”

However, former patients and coworkers of his have been talking and bringing their allegations to police.

One of them is Tracy Gann.

She saw Fuller for pain management but says in addition to her physical pain, she now suffers emotional pain from Fuller’s actions.

“I have a daughter. I have a granddaughter and a daughter in law,” Gann said. “The thought that somebody would touch them wrongfully like he did me, I had to come forward for myself to help me heal.”

Gann says Fuller inappropriately touched her and made comments about her body during an appointment last year.

She said, “A doctor does not have the right to comment on your breasts improperly.”

Fuller’s attorney says there is no proof Fuller did anything wrong and says the women who are making claims against him are looking for money, including Gann.

“If it’s not about the money why doesn’t she just dismiss the lawsuit and move on?” Adams said. “The problem with Dr. Fuller’s case is that it’s a he said she said.”

Gann is moving forward, and hopes other alleged victims will, too.

“There is no amount of money that is going to take what he did away from me,” she said. “It’s not about the money to me. It’s about him being able to be around women.”

Since NewsChannel Four first reported this case, several additional women have come forward.
