Officials have stated the cause of the outage was due to a problem at a substation.
Officials say the power has been restored.
Problem at a substation caused an outage for approx. 2700 customers in west OKC. All should be restored now. Lasted about an hour.—

OKLAHOMA CITY – OG&E is reporting more than 2,000 customers are without power in northwest Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon.
Officials have not said what caused the power outage.
They have not given a timeline on when power might be restored in those areas.
