Weekend earthquakes startle Oklahomans

OKLAHOMA – Our state has experienced numerous earthquakes once again this weekend.

You may have felt a few of them — depending on where you live.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported two quakes that happened overnight Saturday into Sunday.

A 4.5-magnitude quake hit near the town of Crescent — In fact, the USGS showed seven quakes in that area after midnight.

There were also a handful of quakes just east of Choctaw this weekend.

The largest quake recorded after the Crescent quake was 4.3 around 10:08 p.m. Saturday evening.
