CHANDLER, Okla. – Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation say they have discovered remains while searching through a rural area of Lincoln County.

Officials say they were looking for evidence or information that would help lead them to solving the case of a missing person.

Investigators were searching a field east of Chandler when they discovered 20 bones, including an intact skull.

Authorities say it will take some time to make a positive identification on the remains.

At this time, information about that case is not being released.
