Save the date: Join the fun and run for children with life-threatening illnesses

NORMAN, Okla. – Andy Alligator’s Water Park here will host its first-ever Swamp Stomp, a 1k Fun Run and 5K Run, May 24 at Andy Alligator’s Water Park, I-35 at Indian Hills Road.

The Swamp Stomp is as an obstacle course run to raise money and awareness for Give Kids the World Foundation.

There will be a 5k run for ages 12 and up and 1k fun walk/run appropriate for ages five and up. Registration for either event will include a t-shirt, finisher medal, goody bag, and free admission to the Water Park that day.

The 5k and 1k will both start on Market Place Drive on the north side of Andy Alligator’s Fun Park, and will end inside the Water Park. The 5k will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the 1k at 9:30 a.m.

Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that exists to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses from around the world, by providing a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to attractions in Central Florida, and to enjoy Give Kids the World Village.

Registration cost for the 5k is $40 through May 23 and $45 May 24. Registration cost for the 1k is $30 through May 23 and $35 May 24.
