South winds boost temps, fire danger extremely high

Winds out of the south today will boost our temperatures to the 70s and 80s.

Fire danger will be extremely high this afternoon in western Oklahoma and very high tomorrow.

This is also the warmest day of the week with highs in the mid 80s and 90s.

As moisture streams into the Sooner state over the weekend, rain chances will increase.

Severe weather is possible with a powerful cold front late Sunday.
