One injured in explosion, fire at Oklahoma chemical plant

TULSA, Okla. – Firefighters are investigating the cause of a massive business fire at a chemical plant.

Officials say about 75 firefighters battled the blaze at Sabre Chem Inc., which produces oil field chemicals.

Several explosions were reported around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Fortunately, it has been contained and all employees have been accounted for.

Also, there are no evacuations.

Officials say one person suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital.

Now, crews are concerned the chemicals could wash into the storm drains.
