WINTER PARK, Fla. – A suspect wanted in a hit-and-run crash at a central Florida day care is now in custody.

According to NBC News, police say 28-year-old Robert Corchado turned himself in late Thursday afternoon.

His bond has been set at $100,000.

Authorities say Corchado hit another vehicle with his S-U-V, which sent it crashing into the day care center.

The crash killed a four-year-old girl and injured 11 children.
