Postpartum depression does not only affect mothers

Most of us have heard of mothers developing postpartum depression after having a baby, but now a new study explores how dads can also be affected.

A long-term study of more than 10,000 males reveals men in their mid-twenties may be at risk for becoming depressed after they become fathers.

According to reports, symptoms increased on average by 68% over the first five years of fatherhood for these young men.

Men who lived in the same homes as their children were more affected by depression.
