A teenager has reportedly been arrested after she took to Twitter to allegedly make a threat to American Airlines earlier this week.

On Sunday, @QueenDemetriax_ sent a tweet that read: “Hello, my name is Ibrahim and I am from Afghanistan. I am part of Al Qaeda and on June 1 I am gonna do something really big bye.”

American Airlines responded by saying, “Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI.”

After receiving the response, @QueenDemetriax says she was just joking and is actually from the Netherlands, not Afghanistan.

She also tweeted that she needs a lawyer and at least she would have a story to tell at school the next day.

Her account was suspended a short time later.

According to the Independent, the 14-year-old Dutch girl has been arrested in the Netherlands.
