Thunder Lock Up Two Seed, To Face Grizzlies In Playoffs
The Oklahoma City Thunder rallied for a comeback victory over the Detriot Pistons, behind Kevin Durant’s 21 points in the final period, to take the western conference’s second seed in the NBA playoffs.
Durant finished the game with 42 points, his fourteenth 40 point game of the season.
The win extends the Thunder’s win streak to nine straight victories over Detroit.
The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Dallas Mavericks 106-105 on Wednesday, April 16, to seal up the western conference’s seventh seed.
The Thunder and Grizzlies will play Saturday, April 19, inside The Peake in the first game of their playoff series, tip is set for 8:30 p.m. CT.
