Oklahoma woman killed in shooting after string of burglaries

TULSA, Okla. – A woman was shot and killed after a string of overnight burglaries.

Officers say the crime spree started Friday evening at a Dollar General.

Two hours later, two armed men robbed a restaurant.

Officials say a sheriff’s deputy and a Tulsa police officer saw the suspects running from the building with guns and left in a vehicle.

They say the suspects drove directly toward the deputy.

Authorities say an 18-year-old female was dead in the vehicle and a 17-year-old male was injured.

The third suspect, who is 19, was taken into custody.
