The Thunder look to protect home court tonight and go up 2-0 on Grizzlies at 7pm at the Peake.
The Thunder stifled the Grizzlies on defense in game 1. OKC held a Memphis team that averages 96 points per game to just 86.
The Thunder started the game on an 8-0 run and never let Memphis take the lead.
While the Grizzlies did make a run in the 3rd outscoring the Thunder 31-13, that was as close as they would get, pulling within 2. Kevin Durant said that something the Thunder have to "do better" at in Monday's showdown.
Mike Conley said the Grizzlies were "embarrassed" in game 1. The tightly contested rivalry over the last 3 years took another step last game with the pace of play.
David Joerger, Memphis Head Coach, said they were worn out by the Thunder's pace in the first contest.
Thunder Guard Reggie Jackson even said he pushed the pace so much he needed an extra break.
Expect Memphis Point Guard Mike Conley to log a ton of extra minutes as back up Nick Calathes is serving the 2nd game of a 20 game suspension for substance abuse.
Tip at the Peake is 7pm on Monday.
