Afternoon quake rattles Oklahomans in Woods County
WOODS COUNTY, Okla. – If you live in northwestern Oklahoma you may have felt your home shaking this afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed a 3.2-magnitude quake rattled northwestern Oklahomans.
Officials said the quake was about 7 miles west from the area of Alva, Okla., about 40 miles away from the Woodward area.
Other recorded quakes for Thursday are all smaller than the 3.2 that happened around noon.
No serious damage was reported.
