Tonight we are honoring a young metro woman who has been going above and beyond for anyone who needs help.
Especially during a recent tragic event in her hometown.
Inside the Guthrie Upper Elementary School works one of those everyday heroes that never expects recognition for what she does for others.
Whether it is orchestrating school fundraisers, finding shoes for kids at school that can't afford a new pair, or helping at her church, Jana Frey is always there to lend a hand to her school and her city.
Recently she worked overtime to help a family facing tragedy.
The school principal arranged for Jana to come into the library thinking it was a school project, but she quickly caught on to the ruse.
