Oklahoma registered sex offender arrested for going too close to a high school

CUSHING, Okla. – An Oklahoma sex offender has been arrested for violating the sex offender registry rules and guidelines.

According to Cushing Police Department, at approximately 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Maynard Lane was arrested for violating his sex offender registration.

Lane was arrested in the 1400 block of E. Walnut Street for being in a 2000 foot radius of Cushing high school.

Lane is currently being held in the Payne County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
