OKLAHOMA CITY - One man is behind bars and facing several charges after he allegedly began shooting at police.

Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to a disturbance near the Walgreens, located near S.W. 84th St. and S. Pennsylvania Ave.

Witnesses say the man was intoxicated and had a knife.

Police found the alleged suspect, who continued to walk away.

When confronted, authorities say 25-year-old Jerad Gravitt started shooting at the officer.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Gravitt was found hiding in a yard and arrested.

He is now facing two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
