DALLAS (CNN) – A judge is facing criticism after she sentenced a convicted rapist to 45 days in prison and probation.

Authorities say 20-year-old Sir Young admitted to raping a 14-year-old girl when he was 18-years-old at their high school, saying that she begged him to stop but he just didn’t.

The case went before Judge Jeanine Howard, who could have sentenced Young to 20 years in prison for the crime.

However, the judge gave the defendant a 45 day sentence and probation, implying that the victim was promiscuous.

She told The Dallas Morning News the sentence was partly based on the victim’s medical records, which indicated that she had three sexual partners.

She told the newspaper the victim “wasn’t the victim she claimed to be.”

The judge said the victim and Young had talked about sex but that she simply didn’t want to have sex at that time.

Young was also ordered to serve 250 hours of community service at a rape crisis center.

However, that center has said he is not welcome there.

Young must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and stay away from the victim.

In addition to the 45 days in jail, he must spend the anniversary of the rape behind bars while he is on probation.

If he complies, he will not have a criminal conviction on his record.

Also, he does not have to follow many of the guidelines that are in place for most rape cases.

He is not required to stay away from children, attend treatment or undergo a sex offender evaluation.
