***A RED FLAG WARNING has been issued for western and central Oklahoma Tuesday.***
Breezy and mild tonight as temperatures drop into the 60s under fair skies.
Hot weather will be with us again this tomorrow with potentially record-breaking heat in the mid-to-upper 90s in central Oklahoma with triple digits in western parts of the state.
OKC’s record Tuesday is 92 degrees set back in 1918.
These hot temps combined with strong winds and low humidity will elevate our wildfire danger.
Expect winds out of the south/southwest tomorrow around 20-40 mph.
The weather pattern changes by the middle of next week and storm chances will increase.
A few isolated thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday.
A better chance for more significant rainfall moves in Wednesday night – Thursday.
Some severe weather is also possible so stay tuned for the latest!
