OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of the Sooner State.

The watch is in effect from 2:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon until 10 p.m. Sunday night.

The primary threats include tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds.

The counties under the watch include:

  • Beaver County
  • Ellis County
  • Harper County
  • Woods County
  • Woodward County

The watch also extends into parts of Kansas.
