BOSTON – You can’t help but stand and cheer.

Die-hard Boston Red Sox fan 38-year-old Michael Mullins finally got his wish.

KTVI reported he got to sing the National Anthem before the first pitch at Fenway Park when his team took on the Tampa Bay Rays.

Mullins has Down Syndrome but didn’t let it stand in his way of reaching this moment.

According to KTVI, Mullins has been performing the National Anthem for the Red Sox’s minor league team for 10 years.

He finally got his dream to sing at Fenway on May 1.
