SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – A woman who recorded her own arrest could be charged with another crime.

According to Masslive, police say 24-year-old Karen Dziewit was drinking outdoors and became belligerent.

While officers were arresting her, she allegedly started the voice recorder on her phone and put it in her purse to record the conversations she had with police.

She was taken to the station for booking and that’s when authorities found the phone.

Officers deactivated the phone and charged her with unlawful wiretapping.

She was also charged with disorderly conduct and an open container violation.
