Recaptured: Inmate taken back into custody after short-lived escape

UPDATE: Officials with the Harper County Sheriff’s Office say they captured Byrn on Tuesday afternoon after his short-lived escape.

FORT SUPPLY, Okla. – Authorities say they are looking for a man who escaped from a minimum security prison.

Officials say Ryan Byrn escaped from the William S. Key Correctional center in Fort Supply.

The Department of Corrections says they are currently investigating his escape.

In April, Byrn was sentenced to two years in prison for possession of a stolen vehicle.
