OKC Thunder’s Kevin Durant narrates ESPN story on Moore tornado to mark year anniversary

MOORE, Okla. – It has been almost one year since an EF-5 tornado tore through Moore, Oklahoma, taking out homes, schools, medical centers and anything else in its path May 20, 2013.

ESPN is putting together a piece remembering and honoring all those affected to mark the anniversary.

NBA MVP and OKC Thunder power forward Kevin Durant is narrating the story.

You can see the “#SCFeatured” story Sunday on ESPN’s Outside the Lines (8 a.m.CT) and SportsCenter (9 a.m. CT)

Durant pledged to donate $1 million to Oklahoma’s relief efforts within a day of the tragic events.

ESPN producers said that is one of the reasons they thought KD would be perfect to help with the story.
