Keep your umbrella handy, showers possible Friday afternoon

While northwesterly flow will prevent major storm chances, a few small waves may set off a few isolated showers in the afternoon Friday and into the weekend.

Rain totals should stay low with any showers that develop.

The jetstream pattern will change early next week to a ridge resulting in dry conditions and hot temperatures.

Temps will soar to the 90s and 100s by Tuesday.

There may be a pattern break-down for Memorial Day weekend bringing showers and thunderstorms but stay tuned for updates.
