UPDATE: AMBER ALERT canceled, children found safe

Update: 12:40 a.m. – The Amber Alert for the two children from Cherokee County has been canceled.

Authorities say the two boys were found safe.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department, the parents were arrested in Creek County.

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – An Amber Alert has been issued for two children in Cherokee County.

Authorities say the non-custodial father and mother took the two children by force from the custodial grandparent.

The father is a known drug user and made threats of harm in front of the children at the time of the abduction.

Officials believe they may be headed to the Manford, Jennings area of Oklahoma or Chanute, Kansas.


Tye, Left – Aiden, Right

The boys missing are 3-year-old Tye Mouse and 15-month-old Aiden Mouse.

Tye was last seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants, and cowboy boots.

Aiden was last seen wearing a red shirt with blue stripes and a Disney Cars jacket.

The father’s name is Tyler Mouse, 27, last seen driving a black 1998 4 door Chrysler Cirrus with the license plate: 565EXZ.

The mother’s name is unknown at this time.
