MYRTLE BEACH – A fun Memorial Day weekend in a popular coastal city took a violent turn.
Three people were shot and killed, and another wounded on the sidewalk outside a South Carolina beachfront hotel Saturday evening.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired and found four gunshot victims.
Three people were pronounced dead, and the fourth was taken to the hospital with unspecified wounds.
A witness said two groups of young adults were arguing on the breezeway by the hotel entrance when the situation turned violent.
A holiday weekend visitor said he’s worried for his family.
The three people killed were 21,22, and 28-years of age.
They’re all from South Carolina.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
