EL RENO, Okla. – Officers say one man is in custody after allegedly firing a gun and taking part in a standoff early Monday morning.
Around 1:50 a.m., police were called to a home in the 300 block of S. Moore Ave. after they received a 911 call about a man firing a gun inside a home.
A woman called and said Edgar Gudino-Lopez had come home drunk and began arguing with her and her brother-in-law.
She told officers she saw a muzzle flash and heard a gunshot before fleeing the house to call 911.
After about an hour of negotiations, Gudino-Lopez was taken into custody.
Four children and the brother-in-law were inside the house but were not harmed during the incident.
However, police say they did find three firearms inside the home, one of which was loaded.
Edgar Gudino-Lopez is being held on charges of reckless endangerment and five counts of kidnapping.
