Group collecting signatures for medical marijuana at State Capitol today

Pot protest

OKLAHOMA CITY – A Tulsa-based non-profit group is launching a petition drive for medical marijuana use in our state.

The group, “Oklahomans for Health,” said it wants to give voters the chance to weigh in on whether medical marijuana should be allowed in Oklahoma.

The group will starting collecting 160,000 signatures needed to put the issue on the ballot today at the State Capitol today at noon.

If approved, Oklahoma doctors would be able to prescribe marijuana  for a variety of medical conditions.
