Choking hazard prompts recall; how your baby could be at risk

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for a baby food maker.

The CPSC has recalled nearly 800 Hamilton Beach Bebe brand baby food makers in the U.S. and about 3,100 in Canada.

The use of the slicing/shredding disc with the motor shaft adapter can cause the stainless steel pin to loosen and fall into the processed food.

The CPSC has received three complaints.

No injuries have been reported, at this time.

The items affected were available at Buy Buy Baby stores nationwide, through specialty distributor Victor Co. Inc. and online at, and from September 2013 through February 2014.
