Chickasha man facing charges for allegedly sharing child porn with officers

WALKER, MICHAEL

CHICKASHA, Okla. – A Chickasha man is behind bars after police allegedly found child pornography on his computer.

Officers say they were able to download pornographic images from a user’s computer in Chickasha through a file sharing network.

Deputies followed the computer’s IP address to a location in Chickasha and confronted Michael Tyler Walker, who gave officers the password to his laptop.

According to the police affidavit, authorities discovered several images and videos of child pornography and also found search terms consistent with someone looking for child pornography.

Deputies say Walker admitted to using a file sharing software.

Walker is charged with possession of child pornography and a felony violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

If convicted of both crimes, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
