OKLAHOMA – Residents across the state may have felt the Earth move under their feet throughout Friday.

Officials with the United States Geological Survey say a 3.5-magnitude quake rocked 3.7 miles N.W. of Helena, Oklahoma just before 4:45 p.m. Friday afternoon.

However, that was not the first tremor the state had seen in the last 24 hours.

The United States Geological Survey also reported a 3.3-magnitude quake 1.8 miles west-S.W. of Medford, Oklahoma.
