Thunder fans heading downtown could experience delays, here’s why

OKLAHOMA CITY – Downtown traffic advisers warn motorists about possible delays when traveling to Bricktown over the weekend.

Several roads have been closed off due to construction and Thunder Alley.

Streets will be packed hours before game time with Thunder fans ready to watch tonight’s Game 6.

Here are the routes to avoid when traveling to the heart of OKC.

NW 4th closed between Walker and Hudson while crews install additional storm inlets.

Mickey Mantle reduced between Flaming Lips Alley to Wanda Jackson Way for commercial building construction. Two way traffic maintained.

Walker reduced to one north bound lane from Sheridan to Reno for private utilities.

NW 4th closed between Hudson and Harvey for commercial building construction. Closure anticipated to last until mid June.

The intersection of Kerr and Robinson is closed to traffic.

Kerr closed to traffic between Robinson and Broadway.

Main reduced from Shartel to Lee for the construction of the new police headquarters.

Couch closed to traffic between Robinson and Broadway.

Main reduced from Walker to Hudson for construction of the parking garage.

Robinson closed between Kerr and Park and McGee and Kerr.
