The “Serge Protector” continues to stand strong for the Thunder.

Serge Ibaka was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive first team on Monday for a third consecutive season.

Air Congo led the NBA in total blocked shots for a fourth consecutive season. Ibaka and Dikembe Mutombo are the only players in league history to accomplish that feat.

Ibaka helped OKC hold opponents to the third lowest field goal percentage in the NBA at 44%.

Ibaka is joined by Paul George (Pacers), Chris Paul (LA Clippers), Andre Iguodala (Warriors), and Joakim Noah (Bulls).
