Officials looking for stolen 1-ton marble statue

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a large marble statue that was stolen from the front yard of a Deer Creek home.

Authorities say the crime happened on a property located in the 2300 block of NW 206th Street on May 25, 2014.

The marble statue is of a man riding a horse.  It stands approximately 6 feet tall and is 5 feet long and 3 feet wide.

The statue weighs at least 1-ton.

Investigators believe someone used a forklift to pick up the statue and then placed it on a large flat bed style truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the authorities at (405)713-1017.
