OKLAHOMA CITY – Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation are warning drivers that their usual route home may change over the evening hours.
Crews are working hard across the city to finish up on-going construction.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation provided a list of roads to avoid during construction hours.
I-40 narrows at SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) tonight
Eastbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane and detoured onto the Kilpatrick Turnpike access road at SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) from 8 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Thursday as part of the ongoing
I-40/Mustang Rd. reconstruction project. Additionally, Reno Ave. will be closed between SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) and Sara Rd. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.
SH-4 remains narrowed at I-40 through summer 2014
Both directions of SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) will remain narrowed to one lane at I-40 as part of a continuing project to widen I-40 and reconstruct the SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) bridge and ramps at I-40. Project is expected to last until summer 2014.
Lincoln Blvd. narrows at N.E. 23rd St. Thursday
The left lane of northbound Lincoln Blvd. will be closed at N.E. 23rd St. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for drainage repair.
I-35 ramp to I-240 closes Thursday night
The northbound I-35 ramp to westbound I-240 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday for guardrail repair. Drivers should use an alternate route such as I-40.
I-40 narrows at Peebly Rd. Thursday night
The left lane of eastbound I-40 will be closed at Peebly Rd. from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday for guardrail repair.
SH-152 (Airport Rd) narrows, ramps close at MacArthur Blvd. this week
Westbound SH-152 (Airport Rd.) will be narrowed to one lane at MacArthur Blvd. and the westbound SH-152 ramp to northbound MacArthur Blvd. will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday and eastbound SH-152 will be narrowed to one lane and the eastbound SH-152 on-ramp from southbound MacArthur will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday for bridge work.
