Authorities searching for alleged bank robbers

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are looking for two suspects involved in a bank robbery Friday morning.

Authorities say two Hispanic males entered Bank of the West in Warr Acres yelling, “Everybody get on the ground.”

The first subject to enter the bank was wearing a nylon stocking over his head and face and was carrying a white plastic bag.

The second subject was wearing a dark ski mask and fired what is believed to be a blank round from a black revolver he was carrying as he entered the bank.

Witnesses say one suspect instructed the tellers to empty the teller drawers into the plastic bag he was carrying while the second suspect ensured the other occupants of the bank remained on the ground.

Authorities say the suspects then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.  No one was injured in the robbery.

They were last seen driving toward N.W. Expressway and N. McArthur Blvd. in an older model sports utility vehicle, possible a Ford Explorer with faded blue paint.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions depict the subject as follows:

Subject 1:  Hispanic male, medium build, wearing a nylon stocking over his head and face, a dark long sleeve shirt with white horizontal stripes, dark baseball style cap, white gloves, dark pants with a white stripe down the leg and carrying a white plastic bag.

Subject 2:  Hispanic male, medium build, wearing a long sleeve green shirt with white horizontal stripes, blue jeans, dark ski mask, dark gloves, white sneakers, and a black revolver.
