CANADIAN COUNTY, Okla. – The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office says they have busted another child predator.

Authorities say Dustin Crump, 27, of Marlow was arrested Friday afternoon after he drove to Canadian County to have sex with an undercover Sheriff’s Investigator posing to be a 15-year-old female.

The arrest was made after a Canadian County Sheriff’s Investigator working in the Sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit established a Facebook page pretending to be a 15-year-old Yukon girl.

After Crump made contact with the undercover deputy, the conversation moved from the Internet to text messages.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, when the conversation turned sexual in nature, Crimp began to send extreme sexually graphic content to the girl.

Authorities say they set up a meeting place, and upon Crumps arrival, an uniformed Canadian County Deputy took him into custody.

Officials say Crumps admitted to investigators that he understood the girl he had been texting was 15-years-old.

“Not only did Crump tell my undercover deputy he knew what he was doing was illegal, but he sent a text to the girl telling her not tell her aunt what she was up to because he didn’t want to get caught,” said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff.

Crump was transported to the Canadian County jail and booked on the Felony charge of Soliciting Sexual Conduct or Communication with a Minor Through Use of Technology.

His bond was set at $50,000.00 and he remains in custody.
