Local artist to offer popular jewelry crafting workshop to Oklahoma residents

SHAWNEE, Okla. – A local artist Gregory Bohanan is offing a Loom Beading workshop for Oklahoma residents.

The workshop will take place at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Not only will participants learn to set up the loom and techniques for warping and weaving, they will also complete a beaded bracelet.

The workshop is open to adults ages 16 and older.

Gregory Bohanan is an artist and teacher specializing in techniques used by Native Americans.

Workshop tuition is $75 for members, $80 for seniors, teachers, military, SGU employees; $85 for non-members.

All supplies are included in the workshop tuition and the loom and all tools are provided for classroom use.

Registration is required and is due by June 17.
