OKLAHOMA CITY - An early morning shooting in Oklahoma City leaves one man in critical condition and the gunman is still on the loose.

The victim claimed he was robbed before being shot in the stomach near N.W. 9th St. and Indiana.

The victim first stumbled to a vacant home before going next door and getting help.

Several neighbors reported hearing the gunfire early Wednesday.

"I heard two rapid gunshots and I said, 'Somebody got it," said neighbor Bill Williams.

By the time neighbors came outside to investigate, they found the victim lying on the front porch of a nearby home, bleeding.

Unfortunately, those who live nearby say crime is nothing new in their neighborhood.

"There's been shootings here continuously ever since I lived here," said Williams.

"I don't know what happened or why it happened," said neighbor Rhonda Phipps. "I think it's crazy and stupid that people hurt each other. I wish people would learn that."

Authorities are still investigating, but they don't have any suspect information to give out.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
