OKLAHOMA CITY - If you walking in a residential area of the south metro, you might hear an unexpected sound.

Coming from one of the home, the sounds of a string symphony.

They practice for two hours every week.

Many of the musicians could not even read music when they began to practice.

Now the "Better Together Strings" use their talents to lift the spirits of senior citizens in local living centers.

Sam Decker and his wife, Myra, are the organizers of all the volunteer group.
